Field Study's Man in E11 is a rambunctious worm in a slippery hole remembering an anthropocenic magic carpet ride
Field Study's Man in E11 is trying to liberate himself from a slippery slough of domestic despond; a proverbial and apocryphal hole he has dug for himself. I stood at the edge of the hole, peered into the darkness and listened to his wormish despondence. . I admonished the field student. 'You dug this hole. You can bloody well dig yourself out of it!' He protested, he pleaded. 'I didn't dig this hole. I fell into it. It's a trap!!' His pathetic protestations slid out of hearing and I decided to look for a more genuine and determined field student from whom to gain insights about recent encounters in the field of Lost and Found in E11, E17 & ......... . I found Cryptoforestry on the magic carpeted edge of Amsterdam. We drifted out into the Anthropocene via Vinland, Ta Prohm, Shanghai, the Amazon, El Salvador - dipping in and out of various zones of anthropogenesis.
